Going Computerised !! (??)

Hi friendz...
actually i had mailed the following experience to many of my friends.. but in case , if you were not on the list, i would like to share it with you.
It goes like this:

Today morning I went in MSEB's office to pay for the monthly bill, the place where I had this experience.

PRELUDE : "Going Computerized."

There, when I was standing in a queue (0830 hrs. I was the first person
to reach there.. even before the Billing clerk. :) ),when he opened the
window, he uttered that now they are going "Computerized",
pointing towards computer, and started the computer installed therein .(which seemed like a brand new one,probably installed in last 5-6 days.).

After this.. he promptly drew his manual "CASH entry" book, Demanded for my monthly bill, and started filling manual receipt. I was a bit confused
that why is he doing that, if they are "COMPUTERIZED"?.. and before I asked that to him, I came to know that ,though computers were purchased, training is not given or it was a WIP. Hence they are still continuing with
traditional way.

Chapter of accidents (?) :

And the actual thing what I wanted to tell you is here....

To your amusement, when he started the PC, I saw.."Guess what ?".... , "LINUX" (Hatz off to Opensource) . It was installed there in New PCs . (Probably the dealer might have wanted to -not to indulge in PIRACY thing..)

And further are the dialogues right from the horses mouth :

Billing clerk: "Arre kay rao !! kay ha bandal program install kelay ya mansanni ? (Dont get confused here, here he is talking about the O.S.)"

And in prelude,he kindly pushed RESTART button ,and continued with WIN XP, and know what ? he promptly started.. WINAMP, inserted a MP3 and started listening to his favourite songs while he was filling manual receipt .

Thanks to GOVERNMENT, that they atleast allow "Listening songs" on
"FULLY COMPUTERIZED BILLING SYSTEMS".


Keeping apart the funny side of the thing ...... can we say anything about whose fault is this anyway ??....... We people ? Government ? Faulty policies ? or no one's ? ..... can't say anything ?.....
